Terms
Polymend is a free tool, offered in good faith and without any guarantee. These terms say that in more detail.
What Polymend is
Polymend is a free web page that repairs common faults in 3D model files so they are easier to print. It runs in your browser. By using it, you agree to these terms.
Your files are yours
Polymend never receives your files, and using it gives no one any rights to them. You are responsible for having the right to use and modify the models you repair.
No guarantee
Polymend is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. A result marked "Repaired" means the faults Polymend checks for are gone; it does not promise that a model will slice or print successfully, or that it is fit for any particular purpose. Always look over a repaired model in your slicer before you print it.
Limits on responsibility
To the extent the law allows, Ryan Haigh and other contributors are not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using Polymend, including failed prints, wasted material, damaged equipment or lost files. Keep your original files; Polymend does not change them, but it cannot keep copies for you.
Fair use of the site
Please do not try to disrupt the site, misuse it to harm others, or present it as your own service in a way that misleads people.
Open source license
Polymend's code is open source under the MIT license. You may use, copy, change and share the code under that license. Where these terms and the license differ about the code, the license governs.
Changes
The tool and these terms may change, and the tool may be withdrawn at any time. The current terms are always on this page with the date they were last updated.
